The Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Country Director, Mr. Yong Ye, and Senator Rubina Khalid, the Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), met today at the BISP Headquarters. Their objective was to talk about how to collaborate to support BISP recipients and combat poverty using innovative skill-development initiatives and international employment prospects.
Senator Khalid emphasized how crucial ADB‘s assistance was in developing these initiatives. She thinks that for BISP recipients to escape the cycle of poverty, ADB’s assistance will be essential.
