Turkish Workers Deny Fuel to Israeli Flight in Emergency

EI AI, the national airline of Israel announced that a passenger had to be extracted for medical reasons after an emergency took place at the Antalya airport in Turkey on a flight from Warsaw to Tel Aviv.

However, the employees of the Turkish airport refused to refuel the airplane. The jet had to fly to Rhodes in Greece to refuel despite the medical emergency, as local staff members did not supply fuel. Following that, it proceeds to Israel.

Tensions between Israel and Turkey have led to the cancellation of all direct flights between the two nations since October 7. Diplomatic sources in Turkey verified the emergency landing and claimed that fuel was intended to be supplied for humanitarian purposes. But the caption decided to depart before the refueling was finished.

According to the Time of Isreal, the aircraft reportedly spent many hours on the Antalya Tarmac before taking off for Rhodes. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has backed Hamas because he views them as protectors of their country and has been an active opponent of Israel’s military operation in Gaza.

According to Gaza’s health ministry, approximately 37,877 people have died as a result of Israel’s military onslaught, the majority of whom were civilians.
