Gary Kirsten To Lead Champions Cup Prep
The white-ball coach for Pakistan, Gary Kirsten, will be a key player in the 2017 Champions One Day Cup. The competition will occur from September 12 to September 29 in Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium.
Kirsten, a former captain of South Africa, will manage the five-team league. After Pakistan was eliminated in the 2024 T20 World Cup group stages, he returned to South Africa.

Kirsten went to Lahore in July and met with Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the PCB, to offer input.
In November, Pakistan’s white-ball team will play Australia. Kirsten will be assisted in getting ready by additional seasoned mentors.
