Matt Reeves, the Batman director, has revealed new information about the upcoming sequel. In a recent interview with SFX Magazine, Reeves stated that Batman will be cracking a case once more. Even though he wasn’t saying much, his remarks have caused a lot of discussion on the internet.

As per Reeves, the story from the first film will be expanded upon in the sequel, which will dig deeper into corruption in Gotham City. The sequel will explore new grounds for Bruce Wayne and uncover a new cover of the character.

The filming will begin in 2025, as confirmed by the co-writer, Mattson Tomlin. He praised Reeves as a true artist and expressed excitement about the upcoming sequel, nothing that the bar is set high for the new film. Rumors suggest the sequel might introduce the Court of Owls, a secretive group from the comics known for their influence and brutal assassins called Talons. However, some fantastical characters, like Gentleman Ghost, are unlikely to appear as Reeves.
