IESCO The Islamabad Electric Supply Company retained Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and its six circles in zero load management, indicating no blackouts in these areas.
In the words of Chief Engineer Operation Director Muhammad Aslam Khan, the AJK and all six circles had an uninterrupted supply of power because sufficient electricity was supplied. This constant supply of electricity helped the following areas: Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Rawalpindi City, Rawalpindi Cantt, and Islamabad.

Chief further highlighted that the IESCO received 1581 Megawatts (MW) from the National Grid, which helped the program’s operations and guaranteed a steady electricity supply for its users.
