After the legendary Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo started his YouTube account on Wednesday, hundreds of thousands of people subscribed to it in a matter of hours. Playing with Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, the 39-year-old is a five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or.

With the announcement, “The wait is gone,” Ronaldo posted on social media. “This is my official YouTube channel! Come along with me on this new journey by subscribing.” A large audience soon became interested in his message.

After he uploaded his first video, Ronaldo’s YouTube channel attracted 1.69 million followers in just a few hours. After uploading eighteen films, the figure shot up to almost 4.45 million. This quick expansion demonstrates how well-liked he is on many different platforms.

With 170 million Facebook fans, 636 million Instagram followers, and 112.5 million X followers, Ronaldo has a significant social media following. Days before the channel launch, he tested fans with hints about his upcoming endeavor, which has them excitedly awaiting its release.
