Delta Airlines faces backlash over controversial tweet. A Zionist user on Twitter recently posted a comparison between the emblems of Hamas and the Palestine flag pins worn by Delta Airlines employees, which went viral.
The user questioned American Airlines by tagging them with the message, “Now imagine getting on a Delta aircraft and seeing staff with Hamas badges in the air,” and expressed his unhappiness at having to take off his shoes for security checks at every airport.

Social media was enraged by this reply. Theologian Omar Suleiman posted a screenshot of the conversation and urged people to stop doing business with Delta Airlines by calling for a boycott.

After taking down the tweet, Delta stated, “We withdrew a comment on Wednesday that was not in keeping with our standards.” Our goal is to provide a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for everyone. Later, the flight attendant who took the photograph shared another one of herself holding up a victory sign with the statement, “Thank you to all of you for your nice messages. Even though these past few days have been overwhelming, I appreciate all the love and support. “See you in the heavens!”
