Kuwait And Qatar Emirs Accept PM’s Invitation

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s invitation to visit Pakistan has been accepted by Kuwait and Qatar Emir.

On May 26, throughout this separate meeting in Islamabad, Shehbaz held with Kuwait’s Ambassador, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, and Qatar’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, who transmitted this message.

Additionally, according to a report, the ambassador of Kuwait presented PM Shahbaz with a letter expressing his intentions to visit Pakistan on mutually agreed-upon dates. 

PM Shehbaz Sharif recalled a recent meeting with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, upon receiving the letter.

Sharif expressed satisfaction with the agreed-upon meeting of the Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission, which will occur from May 28 to 30, 2024.

Furthermore, PM Sharif also encountered Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, Ambassador of Qatar in Islamabad, and during this meeting, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,  also handed a letter to Pakistan’s PM which was emphasizing the acceptance of the invitation to visit Pakistan on mutually agreed dates.

As reported, Pakistan’s PM highlighted Pakistan’s profound appreciation for its historic fraternal relations with Qatar and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
