At the Pakistan-China Relations and Business event, held in Beijing on June 6, PM Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan was the guest of honor in that event, which was co-organized by the Pakistan Embassy in China, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), and the China International Cultural Communication Center (CICCC). The attendees at the event included senior members of the Prime Minister’s team and many prominent Chinese dignitaries, officials, academics, think-tank experts, and businesspersons.
During his keynote speech, PM Shehbaz emphasized Pakistan’s strong commitment to the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. He further highlighted the mutual respect, strategic trust, and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. PM Shehbaz underlined how the partnership between China and Pakistan is distinctive and has endured over time.

He also praised such endeavors for providing realistic solutions to contemporary problems.
The Prime Minister underlined the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC) as an essential aspect of Pakistan’s economic reform agenda, identifying it as a success story of bilateral Cooperation and a solid basis for Pakistan’s economic Progress.
Moreover, he was confident that the next phase of CPEC would strengthen the strategic collaboration between Pakistan and China. The PM also encouraged Chinese business people to search for potential customers in Pakistan, particularly after establishing the SIFC-Special Investment Facilitation Council, which provides international investors with a single point of contact. He called for practical cooperation in priority areas such as mining, ICT, and agriculture.
